I'm Eliza. I am a mother to an almost two year old boy and another on the way. In 2008 I married my husband, the man who still gives me butterflies in my stomach every single day. Two and a half years later we found ourselves volunteering for six months in South America. It was during that time that this blog was born. It was my way to talk about the pain of wanting a family but never knowing if that day would come. 8 days before coming back home to the U.S. we learned that our dreams had finally come true. We were expecting our first child. He rocked our world in the best way ever and we're thrilled to be able to grow our family once again.
This blog is about our little life with a little bit of style and a lot of baby mixed in. I am a firm believer that each and every one of us holds the power to choose joy as we write the story of our lives with each passing day. I hope this blog is a reflection of that.
Much Love,
Eliza
