Note To Self: CALM Down

Yesterday I was browsing through babycenter.com as I do often to read and re-read tips on getting pregnant, but this time I did something different. I clicked on possible fertility problems. WHOAH! There are a LOT of possibilities and it's quite frightening. I now know that this was a mistake. As if I wasn't torturing myself enough already!

So if you haven't been trying for a year straight with no success, do yourself a favor and DO NOT click on possible fertility problems. Take it from me, all it will do is further freak/stress you out. And added stress cannot be good for baby makin'.  I know most experts do not support this theory but it's mine and I'm sticking to it.

On to the next topic... I hate to beg but I'm officially begging (see below).

I thought that maybe if I make my goal known to others, it might help. So here it is.... Goal: 100 votes for Top Baby Blogs. I figured that if 33 people vote 3 days in a row I will have met my goal. So what do you say? Yes? I guess I'll just have to wait to find out. :)

  1. I remember the days of driving myself crazy too!!! Now I have three children!!! I don't think anything causes more stress than being told not to stress out!!! Do you have a project that you have been wanting to work on, decorate a room, a project at work, anything that really intrests you. If you just add something I found it helps. After trying for a while to concive my first child I offically gave up, I joined a choir, a month later I was pregnant. I have no idea if there was a correlation, but, I know I was having fun! It's hard when you want something so badly!! I will send my best thoughts!! Take care!!

  3. Kathy - Well I've been in South America for the last 6 months. I guess you can call that project :)Thanks for your comment!

Tara - No I wasn't diagnosed with infertility. I haven't seen any specialists yet (will be doing that soon) but I have had doctors tell me it might be hard to get prego because of a previous condition. Thanks for your thoughts! If you haven't already, check out this post: http://babycravings.blogspot.com/2011/06/warning-will-make-you-cry.html

It's a vid that sums up the feelings of not being able to get pregnant.
