We had our appointment with our midwife today! We are most likely going to have our baby in a birthing center and in the tub shown below. I've always wanted a natural childbirth with no drugs and that's what we're going to try to do.
Since it's my first pregnancy, I'm nervous about almost every decision that I make. Has anyone else used a birthing center/midwife?
The best part of today's appointment?We got to hear our baby's heartbeat! We did not expect to hear the heartbeat today so we were taken by surprise. It was such a special moment that we'll never forget. And so reassuring!
How exciting!! There is nothing like hearing that sound!!! I did not use a midwife/birthing center but my sister did and she loved it. It does seem like a lovely way to have a baby!! Much luck to you. I look forward to reading more about your wonderful adventure!! Enjoy, it is an amazing time!!
