I CAN'T believe it's been over a week since I last posted. I took a much needed week off to bond with this child inside of me. We found out the gender last Friday and we are thrilled! We are excited to know what we're having, start decorating that nursery and narrow down on a name.

What is the gender you ask? Well, stop back in on Monday to find out. I hate to keep you waiting but I have a ton of things on my to do list and have not been able to get around to it.

I hope you all are having a lovely Friday and have a great weekend!

This weekend I'll be searching for wonderful baby bedding like this and enjoying this much cooler weather.

  1. aww, SO exciting! can't wait to find out what your having :) we found out the sex of ours yesterday and cannot stop smiling!!!!! x x x

  2. Gender is socially constructed. Sex is biological. For example, when you dress your little girl in pink, you are conforming to gender norms in deciding how you want society to see her. In this case, a girl. When she grows up she may decide that she doesn't want to look like that anymore and represent the opposite gender. That is why they have baby themes that are gender neutral--this doesn't change the sex of your baby. I'm sorry for this, but I really hate when people try to sound politically correct by saying gender and they really mean sex. Again, Sex it biological and gender is socially constructed.
