Baby On A Budget: Ikea Finds





Last Sunday on our way back from my parents house we made a stop at Ikea. I love Ikea because they have great items at uber cheap prices. Plus, I love the way the store is set up. I feel like I'm at some kind of home decor theme park.


I had fun watching my husband pick out these toys for our son. He was like a little boy in a candy shop. So cute.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the frames yet. I was thinking to wrap the mat of each frame in a different fabric. We got four to go down one side of the wall that the window is on but I'm waiting for the crib to come before I decide on the rest of the room. Speaking of the crib, I still haven't decided on one. We're going out tonight to look back at some of our options and hopefully make a decision.

His nursery is filling up with items slowly but surely. I got so emotional organizing his things this week because it just makes things feel so close and real.

    I loved setting up the nursery for each of our children, but it was extremely exciting the first time around!! I can relate to the crib shopping, I took so long to decide that my crib was delivered the day I came home from the hospital with our son because it had to be ordered and it took 6 weeks to arrive! Enjoy this great time!!!
