I was going through the pictures in my husbands phone last night and came across these. We took them one night when I was about 4 months pregnant. We were going to dinner when we took a detour to Motherhood maternity. I was desperate to start fitting into maternity clothes. I was desperate to start looking pregnant and at that point, I felt like I did. I was soooo proud of that bump you see in the first photo and I was excited for the world to know that I was pregnant.
When I walked into the store and started looking around the employee asked me who I was shopping for... ??????????????????????? WHAT?! That was my thought at the time. "HOW COULD SHE NOT KNOW IT WAS FOR ME?! HAS SHE NOT SEEN MY HUGE BUMP?! "
When I told her I was pregnant she said, "no... what are you? Like two weeks?" When I told her I was almost four months she said "you barely look 2 weeks pregnant if at all". It's so funny to me now. Looking back at how mad I was at her. How could she say such a thing?
So I picked out the tightest clothes I could find to show her just how pregnant I was. If I could go back to that 4 month pregnant girl and tell her something it would be to enjoy every stage. Enjoy being little because now? I would just love to be anything close to that size again. ANYTHING CLOSE TO IT.

DeleteHaha, that's funny! I felt the same way. I thought it was SO noticeable (because I was always looking down) and I started wearing mat clothes since 4 months because i had a really flat stomach and was quite thin and NONE of my pants did up on the waist band with like a difference of a couple inches I'd grown!
