A few of my favorites:
Dance with her. Start when she’s a little girl or even when she’s a baby. Don’t wait ‘til her wedding day.
Tell her she’s beautiful. Say it over and over again. Someday an animated movie or “beauty” magazine will try to convince her otherwise.
Remember, just like a butterfly, she too will spread her wings and fly some day. Enjoy her caterpillar years.
And this quote.... "No one told me to pay close attention, that children really do grow up too fast, that there is only one first time for everything and when time has gone by, you can’t get it back."
I hope you all are having a great weekend and enjoying all of those labor day weekend sales... and if you're not too busy, please vote for me on top baby blogs by clicking the banner below.
Great blog! So far, I haven't been able to read a sentence without tearing up...
ReplyDeleteHi Eliza - Thanks for sharing a link to Life to Her Years with your readers! I must say that this is the first time anyone's called something I've done "the most magical" anything. I had no idea when I wrote it that it would impact so many people!
ReplyDeleteThanks again!
