Show and Tell Linkup: All My Favorites

I missed a few weeks of this link up but I'm back this week!

1. Tell us about your 5 favorite memories in your life.

Obviously, the birth of my son is the best, most wonderful memory of my life. Painful yes. But so amazing. I waited so long to hold him, to see his face, to be a MOTHER. March 4th, 2012 definitely is number one. For sure.

My wedding day comes in close second. I think I know Phillip would agree. The day we became one was extremely magical. And living up to our standards of a clean courtship made that day even better.

The day we found out we were pregnant. I still pinch myself when I think about that day and our little boy is already here! I guess it's because we started to think it would never happen and when it did, it was so perfect, special and quite the surprise. You can read more about that day here.

The day we left Bolivia. Not because we desperatley wanted to be back home. As we walked to our plane and looked back to see our friends wave us off from the roof of that small airport was the day that I realized what we (with much help) accomplished. The memories we made to always be treasured. The experiences and lessons we would pass on to our children and let's not forget... I was FINALLY pregnant at this point so that put the icing on the cake. AND I was about two days away from surprising our family. If you don't know, we lived there for 6 months as volunteers and our entire families thought we were coming back a whole month later. Below are some Bolivia pics... mainly for me to look back on.

 

 

Colorado 2010! When my cousin got married, my whole family went to Denver for the big event and a mini vacation. I LOVED it there. The downtown vibe, the weather, the shopping and FOOD. THIS RESTAURANT! I had a blast. And seeing my cousin so happy and in love was a very special moment.
