HouzzDay: Flooring and a link-up!!

 

I have NO idea what BLOGGER was busy doing last week but this post was scheduled for last Thursday and I just now realized it didn't publish. UGH.

 

So.... Better late than never? I'll go with that one. Sorry guys!

 

 

It's the second HouzzDay on my blog and this weeks theme is FLOORING!

Here is what I've been loving lately:

Do you know what it is? If you said hardwood you are WRONG my friend. It's tile! Wood look tile to be exact and I'm digging it. I love the look of wood floors. It's warm and inviting. I makes me think of movie nights on the couch with me, Phillip and somewhere around  three kids (yes THREE). I makes me think of kiddie sleepover with sleeping bags all over the floor. These sorts of things. The problem? If I want wood everywhere (not really everywhere), even the high traffic spots, it will start to show signs of wear much quicker than tile. That's why this wood look tile is awesome. I've seen many different kinds and at first, I was not a fan. I thought it was cheesy, tacky and fake looking. But look at the floors above! THOSE are gorgeous. Right? RIGHT???

Next week: WALLZ!! Now this may seem to sbe imple and boring for you but do not be fooled. There is a TON you can do with a wall to wake up a room. Don't beleive me? Check out HOUZZ.COM and search "walls".
