Five years married

May 10th Phillip and I made FIVE years married. FIVE YEARS! Since we have a million things going on this month, we decided to celebrate it a few weeks early by taking a little getaway trip to Disney. It was as magical and special as I hoped it would be. Each anniversary that comes our way, I can't help but think about how far we've come. How much we've changed and how much we've stayed the same.



Year one...

They said, "the first year is the hardest"
We say, " if that was hard, then we cannot wait for what's in store for us"

 Years two - three

We were making plans to move to Bolivia and eventually lived there for six months

They said, "being with eachother 24/7 will make or break you. It's not as easy as you may think."
We say, "thank you Bolivia for making us stronger, bringing us closer and adding more fuel to our fire."

Years three - four

We were preparing for the arrival of our first child
They said, "children can ruin a marriage"
We say, "ARE YOU NUTS for telling soon-to-be parents this?!" and also, "if you love each other enough and work to stay on the same page, adding a new soul can be like dynamite (in the best way possible)"

Year five

Well we're just starting out but here's what we have in store for us... A new home, a new town, hopefully new friends, and possibly another bambino?? I said POSSIBLY! Who knows what's really in store but what I do know for sure is that if I have my best friend and partner by my side, it will be simply divine.
