Summer, I Surrender To You

When I lived in New York I so eagerly awaited the warmer months which meant shorts, tank tops and bathing suits.... but once we moved to Florida and the excitement of an almost year long summer wore off I found myself hating it. Every year, as the temperatures rise, I cringe. I find myself daydreaming of being somewhere in the mountains with a hot drink in my hands and a scarf around my neck. But I've made a decision. This year will be different.

I will embrace the sun hitting my skin, the beautiful evenings on the beach, the extra pool days, the casual attire, all of it.







So here's to an amazing summer. I surrender to you, Summer.
