The weekend

This weekend was for getting work done around the house and relaxing.

Friday night, we received the dresser we ordered from overstock.com and we immediately got to work. It took a total of 5 hours to put it together but we didn't make any mistakes and I didn't cry once ;) so ill say it was a success!

Cruze did everything he could to entertain himself, including goofing around with mamas shower cap. He's such a clown these days. I just can't get enough of him.

Saturday night we missed out on a fun gathering to get more done around the house. I was a little bummed about that but we managed to get away for a little bit to find the most amazing Chinese food ever. And guess what? It even tasted like real chicken.

Sunday morning Phillip earned yet again, husband of the year award. He closed my bedroom door in the morning while he fed and played with cruze so that I could sleep in. I woke up at 10:30! And he was just walking in the door. He had done a bunch of errands and came home with breakfast for us. Sleep and food? That's enough for me to celebrate over.

It's weekends like these, that make me feel so blessed to have my family. Laid back and easy but full of so much laughter and love. I'm a lucky gal.
