What I'm Loving

 

DIY play teepees. I've mentioned how obsessed I am with the idea of putting a teepee in Cruze's (one day to-be finished) playroom. I've looked all over but they are just so expensive. With the endless list of things to purchase for this new home of ours, it's just not an option right now. BUT.... I've found some awesome teepee tutorials online and have saved some on pinterest here. Below are just a few. My only problem is that some seem too small and others are too narrow. Any ideas? I'm trying to come up with my own plan but it's giving me a headache!

 

 

 

Switching gears. I have been on the hunt for a good organic/clean shampoo. I have always preferred salon quality shampoos because it really does make a world of difference for your locks but, over the last few years I have shifted towards wanting something that doesn't kill me ( you know what I mean, right?). I've tried a few pure shampoos that don't contain yucky sulfates, parabens etc. but they've all left me and my hair feeling a little flat (or greasy, staticky and so on).

A few weeks ago I was at my health food store and decided to give it another try. I asked one of the employees (who had amazing hair) for her suggestion and she directed me to this...

 

 

 

Ladies, let me tell you... this stuff has rocked my world and changed my life forever. Okay, I may be going a tad bit far but seriously the. best. shampoo. I have ever tried EVER. Even better than the salon stuff. I just ordered a second bottle of the coconut version because it had equally great, or slightly better reviews.

 

update: since writing this post I decided to give the no-sew teepee method a try. I'll update with pictures when I'm done. I can't wait!!!
