Organic Modernism

Organic modernism is a design term that's new to me. I stumbled upon some photos of this style on ApartmentTherapy.com and it rocked my world. For the longest time, when talking about the style I want for our home I would often say, "I want modern, clean, crisp but... I also want it to be super warm and inviting". I didn't know many other ways to describe it but I knew how I wanted my home to feel.

I want to walk in the door to a clean space. Something refreshing and uncluttered. However, sometimes the idea that comes to mind when thinking of modern décor is a sort of harshness. And I know that's not for me. I want a welcoming space that feels lived in, that makes you want to kick off your shoes and ahhhhhh - relax.

Enter Organic Modernism. It's just what my heart has been longing for. So if you're not familiar with this style. Take a look below and get a little inspired.
