Dear Summer

You had a nice run. You made us all sweat and burn. You laughed at those of us who thought it was anything but stupid to purchase a BLACK CAR WITH BLACK LEATHER while living in FLORIDA.

You chuckled when I walked outside in the 100 degree weather in long jeans and a black long sleeved shirt because I was too embarrassed to show some skin. You have been here long enough. NOW GO. I'm DONE. I am so DONE with you're hot ways.

I have no interest in frolicking on the beach, I couldn't care less about wearing cute sandals and daisy dukes, and a bathing suit? Funny. No. What I want is breezy nights. I want to sit outside a coffee shop with the coolish air hitting my skin while finding solace in the heat of my mug. I want to tuck my skinny jeans into my boots and throw on a scarf as I run out the door. Fire pits and fire places. That's what I want. Long walks without sweating. Sign. me. up. But summer? Eh, not so much. I've had enough.

Come to think of it, what I REALLY want is to move the heck out of South Florida and be in any of the above photos wearing this EXACT outfit below but for now, the mild winters will suffice. Just get here already, will ya?

Also, can somebody PUH-LEASE tell me where that sweater is from?? That's all.

  4. I didn't even know Florida had a fall LOL (I'm in Canada). If you want a nice fall come here, but our summers can be pretty brutal too. I don't know what the temperature exchange is into Farenheit, but it's been in the mid-30's here at some parts of the summer! And SUPER humid! Oh, and I was pregnant for most of it!
