Day 30, Thursday: React to this term: Letting Go
This term can mean so many things. It can mean letting go of anger towards another person, disappointment over a situation in your life and so on. But for me it means, letting go of the hurt I have caused myself. The mistakes I have made that will forever haunt me. Or perhaps reminding myself that those mistakes are what make me the person I am today, what makes me a fighter and the kind of person who really thinks before taking a foolish step. It means trusting in the words found at Isaiah 1:18:
“Come, now, YOU people, and let us set matters straight between us,” says Jehovah. “Though the sins of YOU people should prove to be as scarlet, they will be made white just like snow; though they should be red like crimson cloth, they will become even like wool.
It means understanding that "God is greater than our hearts" and "forgives in a large way"
