One thing I just love about our new home is how close it is to awesome outdoor shopping malls and about 1 billion other activities.
We took advantage of the beautiful weather on Saturday to get some home décor shopping done at West Elm and Home Goods. It was the perfect day to let Cruze run around outside and do a little "window shopping" of his own ;)
When Phillip and I were first married and even while we were expecting our first child, I always wondered how family life would suit us. I knew it's what I wanted and I knew I would love it. But still, it's a whole new ball game and I couldn't help but wonder if it would be what I expected.
Days like these... they make me so happy beyond words. I love my little family. I love family life and doing things together. It just feels so right, so natural that I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm married to the most amazing man and father. And my boy? He just lights up my entire life.
Who knew a little outdoor window shopping could be made that much more fun with a toddler in tow? I didn't, but let me tell you, it's pretty amazing.
