Bumpdate >>>> 34 and 35 weeks

 

I've been so busy lately meaning I have gotten behind on so many things including, blogging. For that reason, I'm combining my bumpdate for weeks 34 and 35.

 

Week 34

Baby is the size of a: Butternut Squash

Cravings: Chocolate chip cookies, ice cream and milkshakes. I resisted for the majority of my pregnancy but boy oh boy have my cravings gone out of control. I don't succumb to them every day but about once or twice a week, I cave.

Symptoms: week 24 was a good one for me. My contractions slowed down quite a bit and there were times when I even forgot I was pregnant. That's how great I felt!

Best Moment this week: Spending more down time with Cruze has really been so special. I know that very very soon his world will be rocked but for these next few weeks, I'll be soaking up every second of our time alone together.


Looking forward to: Starting the nursery... Yeah, I know we waited til the end. Womp womp

Week 35

Baby is the size of a: Coconut and weighs around 5+ pounds.

Cravings: ice cream, protien shakes

Symptoms: Annnnddddd.... the contractions are back! Here I was thinking it would be smooth sailing for the next few weeks. My back is also hurting a ton and sleep? Not so good.

Best Moment this week: We picked up the crib which has been sitting in Babies R Us since we bought it last month. Again, we have totally pushed it this time around.

Looking forward to: My baby shower!! I can't tell you how excited I am about this. I guess I feel like I have done so much less for this babe that I'm really looking forward to celebrating him. I hope I remember to get tons of pictures to document this time.
